FAQ's

01

Why do I need adjustments to my spine?

Injuries, poor posture and hereditary weaknesses can all cause bones to move out of position. The only way to realign vertebra or bones is to adjust them. There are only 3 positive things that can keep your spine healthy: exercise, adjustments and nutrition. By leaving out one of the three, you may be setting yourself up for pain and problems.

02

Why would I need Vitamin B shots?

The number one reason why people are deficient in B vitamins is STRESS (stress burns through vitamins like having your foot on the accelerator). The second reason is poor digestion and the third is external stimuli such as smoking, alcohol or medication.

Vitamin shots are the best way to restore B vitamins back to your body. You can only absorb 30-40% of the nutrients you digest normally. But with Vitamin B injections, your body can absorb 90-95% because you totally bypass the digestive system.

03

Why would I want a Vitamin C IV?

Our bodies do not make vitamin C, so we must either eat it or take a supplement. Unfortunately vitamin C can be hard on many people’s stomach and intestines, even abrasive. So, they have a tendency to avoid it. However, vitamin C is a great immune booster, eliminates shingles, improves wound healing, increases antioxidant function, improves cardiac health, prevents degenerative diseases and can help improve your mood. By taking vitamin C by IV, you can get a much greater volume and superior absorption by totally bypassing the digestion system.

04

How is sinus therapy different than surgery?

Surgery is almost always attempting to move a tissue or remove some tissue. However, rarely is a deviated septum the root of the cause. Most try to address a structural abnormality for their sinus infections or problem, when actually most sinus problems are caused by tissue dysfunction or external allergy causing a thickening of the mucus membrane. To improve the sinus’s membrane you have to address the underlying outward cause. Sinus therapy does this without surgery or long-term medications.

05

What is Plantar Fasciitis and how is it treated?

Plantar fasciitis is a major dysfunction of the foot causing pain in the heel and the sole of the foot. Pain is usually worse in the morning, and upon arising and walking. It is caused by tight muscles in the calf, dysfunction of the bones, and loss of the normal arches. For best results, multiple treatments are recommended: exercises, orthotics, therapy and adjustments to the feet.

06

Why am I in pain and what can I do about it?

There can be several issues causing your pain. It can be a result of muscle spasms, pinched nerves, joint problems, disc herniation, inflammation or a combination of two or three of these. That’s why Dr. Lockhart takes the time to talk with you, follow your history and perform a thorough exam to determine the correct treatment.

07

What is HCG and what does it do?

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone naturally produced by the body. During pregnancy the levels increase to break down fat on the mother’s body, converting the fat into energy for both mother and baby. For the weight loss program, the HCG does the same: it promotes the conversion of fat into energy.
